Fire and Water

You are fire that cannot be contained
Smoldering within, burning true
and all within your path.

I am woman of hearth and home
tending fire within the box
to give warmth to all.

But you are wildfire
dancing to the winds of change
that will not be tamed.

I am baptizing pool
teeming with life that, in love,
will not douse your dancing flames.
